Secretary of State posts Ascension Parish results of the March 23 election

Democratic President Joe Biden and former Republican President Donald Trump each won their presidential party primaries with landslide victories March 23, as Ascension Parish and neighboring parishes selected state central committee members for each party.

Biden won the statewide Democratic primary with 86 percent of the vote, while Trump won the Republican primary with 90 percent, according to unofficial results from the Louisiana Secretary of State.

Other multi-parish results including Ascension Parish precincts included:

  • DSCC 58th A: Nicole Dumas (51 percent)
  • DSCC 59th B: Anthony L. Christy (68 percent)
  • DSCC 81st A: Kristina Collins Harrison (56 percent)
  • RSCC 2A: James L. Prudhomme II (37 percent)
  • RSCC 2B: Rhonda Lee (54 percent)
  • RSCC 18A: Coy S. Fortenberry (54 percent)
  • RSCC 18C: Pam Alonso (49 percent)
  • RSCC 18D: Rhonda Lamendola (63 percent)
  • RSCC 18F: Jeremy Aydell (82 percent)
